Meet our leaders

Mr. Jagdish Moorjani is the co-founder of CitiusTech. He served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CitiusTech from inception until October 2021, during which time he built and led an exceptional organization of over 5,500 technology and functional professionals. He was responsible for all of CitiusTech’s worldwide services, project execution, solutions and platforms, as well as the functions that support these.

Mr. Moorjani has over 20 years of experience in delivering enterprise grade software projects and in outsourced services. Prior to CitiusTech, he was the co-founder and COO of TransWorks (now part of Concentrix), a leading BPO company with over 15,000 employees presently. While at CitiusTech, Mr. Moorjani also received the Leadership In Times of Crisis award of the Great Place to Work Institute for the exceptional handling of the Covid pandemic by CitiusTech.

Mr. Moorjani has earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) where he earned the Institute Medal for ranking first in his graduating class. He received a fellowship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he completed his master’s degree in engineering. Mr. Moorjani also has a bachelor’s degree in law from Mumbai University.

Mr. Moorjani presently supports and is and closely works with not-for-profit initiatives in different areas in his personal capacity, which are making a meaningful impact to the lives of a vast number of beneficiaries, across school education, higher education and healthcare.
